Mid-Florida Housing Partnership, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) not for profit located in Daytona Beach, Florida. MFHP operates a transitional facility called Palmetto House in Daytona Beach, Florida. MFHP also serves the communities of Volusia and Flagler Counties. MFHP provides first time homebuyers education classes, HUD certified credit counseling, HUD housing counseling including pre- & post purchase counseling, foreclosure intervention counseling, and budget counseling. Our agency provides HUD Fair Housing education and awareness to the communities we serve.
General Job Description:
The House Manager of Palmetto House will report to the Executive Director of Mid-Florida Housing Partnership Inc.
The House Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of the Palmetto House, ensuring continuity, cost effectiveness and quality of operations.
This position is also responsible to facilitate communication, provide leadership to the Palmetto House staff and directly supervise all Palmetto House Staff (housekeepers & house monitors).
Coordinate Palmetto House volunteers & acts as a liaison to the community and community agencies.
Effectively maintains standards and guidelines of transitional housing, for Palmetto House.
Prepare housing update reports for the board as required or requested.
Manage and support staff through regular performance reviews.
Carry out all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications for the Job:
Undergraduate degree in relevant field or discipline, or comparable work experience.
Experience managing staff on a shift basis and recent experience as a manager. Demonstrates understanding of team approach and communication.
Contributes to positive atmosphere; demonstrates positive interactions with internal and external individuals.
Demonstrates ability to lead and be a productive member of a high performing team.
Provides timely and appropriate response to internal and external needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication and public relations skills, Excellent time management and organizational skills, presents as a business professional, ability to adapt to changing agency priorities & flexible and reliable.
