About Us

Committed to Housing Stability in Volusia & Flagler Counties

Mid-Florida Housing Partnership is a nonprofit organization based in Daytona Beach, Florida, dedicated to helping individuals and families access affordable, stable housing. Since 1989, we’ve served the communities of Volusia and Flagler Counties with HUD-approved education, counseling, and support programs that meet people where they are.

Whether you're buying your first home, working to rebuild your credit, facing foreclosure, or looking for a safe place to stay—our mission is to provide the support you need to move forward with dignity and confidence.

What We Do

We deliver housing services that are rooted in real community needs, including:

  • First-time homebuyer education classes
  • HUD-certified credit and budget counseling
  • Foreclosure Intervention counseling
  • Pre- and Post-Purchase Housing counseling
  • Transitional housing for people experiencing homelessness (Palmetto House)
  • Rental counseling

Our work is focused on the belief that everyone deserves access to decent, affordable housing—and that housing stability is key to long-term economic and social well-being.

Mission Statement

Mid-Florida Housing Partnership exists to provide safe, affordable housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income individuals and families. We work to improve access to housing, expand educational and economic opportunity, and uplift communities facing systemic barriers.

Through our programs, we aim to:

  • Increase access to decent, stable, affordable housing
  • Support those who are underemployed, underserved, or living in poverty
  • Reduce racial and economic disparities
  • Promote health, safety, and community well-being
  • Serve historically marginalized groups, including farmworkers, minority communities, and individuals transitioning from institutional settings
